Kryan called her pack together with a long howl. She stood on a tall stone, and new wolves sat at her feet, looking up at her. "We have new wolves joining us!" She called forward one wolf. "Kahzy, do you promise to uphold our packs way of life, even doe for the pack?"
Kahzy nodded. "I do."
Kryan countinued, "Then you will run for beta. If you are not chosen, you will be a hunter."
"Tahoh, Rico, Razor, and Katarah will be fighter. Trojan and Freyjaa will be hunters."
Adrian looked up hopefully. He really wished he could be Beta.

ReplyDelete"I'll do my best," she muttered to herself. She trotted over to Adrian and smiled.
"Hey! I'm Kahzy. Who are you?"
Adrian smiled."I'm Adrian." He said calmly."Welcome to Fallspack."

ReplyDeleteKahzy lowered her head in a gesture of respect towards the two wolves.
ReplyDelete"I hope I get Beta, Although I really don't care what I get as long as I have a chance to do the BEST that I can!!"
Adrian looked away awkwardly."Um, yeah. Good for you." He said uncomfortably to Kahzy.
ReplyDeleteKahzy froze for a moment and then her mouth dropped open.
ReplyDelete"Oh my gosh! Are you..running..Beta...you are..? Oh my gosh I am so sorry, Adrian!" she burst out suddenly. She glared at the ground.
"That was SO STUPID of me..!! How could I not have known?? Why did I boast about it anyway?!?!?!!! Errrrrrrg!!!" she snarled in a private conversation with herself. She smacked her head with her paw and showed her teeth in anger with herself.
"It's alright Kahzy." Frost nudged the white she-wolf. "You didn't mean to harm anyone I'm sure it's fine."
ReplyDeleteAdrian suddenly felt bad."Oh! I'm sorry! It's okay, you were just excited...." He frowned at his own stupidity."We can compete without a fight, right?"
ReplyDelete"Are we all competing?" Frost realized. "Interesting."
ReplyDeleteThere won't be a fight will there??" barked Kahzy suddenly. She flexed her strong muscles but also looked worried. She glanced at Kryan quizzicaly.
ReplyDelete"How WILL we be competing, Kryon..?" she asked, looking at her leader.
"I hope we don't have to fight." Frost glanced at Adrian, she'd never be able to harm him.

Kryan smiled slightly. "No fighting. Its based off actions. Just remember, im listening to every word you say." she joked.

ReplyDelete"Great! I can live with that!" she turned to look at the forest. "Hey, can I go and hunt for a bit? My excitment is going to kill me!!" she barked as she lifted her front paws up and down in an excited manner.

ReplyDeleteAdrian smiled and dipped his head."That's good. I couldn't stand fighting my own pack-members." He smiled to the she-wolves."Until then, we will act as normal hunters and fighters, correct?"
"Whatever you think is right." Kryan barked. "Shenzi!" She called the she-wolf over. "Take Kahzy, Trojan, and Tai out hunting at the main forest." she told her.
